Here’s a little peek at what you can win in The Royal Oak’s Advent Calendar Raffle!
We’ve filled this year’s raffle with some fantastic goodies! Every day in December a new door opens… and another prize is revealed.
Our first peek is donated from …………………… 82O Spirits!
82O Spirits Ltd is a craft distillery based in Lymington / the New Forest, at Shallow mead Nurseries. It was founded by two brothers, Tom and Jonny Simpson. They focus on being environmentally friendly, using locally sourced botanicals, many of which are grown on site or nearby. Their distillation process is quite innovative / scientific: they use vacuum distillation at cold temperatures and “botanic steam baskets” — this helps preserve delicate and fresh botanical flavours. They run a Spirits School / Gin School at their distillery: visitors can pick botanicals, learn to make their own gin (or rum), and leave with a 700ml bottle of what they’ve made.
